Shipping & Delivery

(01) All decor items ship for free to anywhere in the United States via USPS or UPS ground (approximately 2-7 days) unless otherwise stated, or can be picked up from our showroom in NE Minneapolis.
(02) International Shipping is available and incurs added fees. Please contact us prior to placing an international order.

(01) Furniture is made-to-order and has a lead-time that varies. See individual products for up-to-date lead times.
(02) Furniture is shipped free in the contiguous United States (allow an additional 2-3 weeks for shipping), delivered free within the Twin Cities Metro Area (allow an additional one week), or can be picked up from our showroom in NE Minneapolis (10% discount on furniture for using this option, using code PICKMEUP).
International Shipping is available and incurs added fees. Please contact us prior to placing an international order.
(03) The shipping service for free-standing furniture includes scheduled curbside delivery with easy unpacking using a box-knife. White Glove Delivery on shipped items is available for an additional $250-$550 (contact us before placing an order). Smaller furniture pieces (end tables, coffee tables, and nightstands) ship via UPS Ground.
(04) All shipped furniture is fully insured. If you receive a package that appears damaged, take detailed photographs prior to opening the box. If the item is damaged, send photographs of the packaging and the item to us, and we’ll work with our shipping partner to rectify the situation. Remedies may include, but are not limited to, local repair of said item or full replacement - at no cost to the customer.
(05) Delivery within the Twin Cities Metro area is free and includes in-home delivery to the first floor of the house. Any parking fees (meter or parking ramp) required for a delivery are the responsibility of the client. It is at Relic Modern’s discretion to determine how far into a home a piece can be brought, based on a number of factors including, but not limited to number of stairs and weight of the furniture piece.
(06) Pickup from our showroom in NE Minneapolis can be scheduled once the item is complete. Typical pickup hours are 10:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, and occasionally Saturdays.
(07) Completion timelines, estimates, and shipping speeds are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

All of our products can be picked up from our Twin Cities showroom. After the order is placed, you will get an email notifying you when your item is ready to be picked up!

This is a great option and can save you significant money, even if you rent a truck or van for a furniture pickup! When you save us time and money, we’re always happy to pass those savings on to you!
* For custom orders, the discount is valid for 10% off labor only, while standard collection items are priced for the discount to be 10% off the entire order. Additionally, this discount cannot be used in conjunction with our Design Professional Discount.
Returns & Exchanges

(01) Each piece from Relic Modern is handmade and unique. Variations in wood tone and grain quality are what make handcrafted one-of-a-kind items special, and should be expected. We create our pieces as precisely as possible, however slight imperfections are not uncommon. The products are made using a veneered and layered Baltic birch, so occasional minor defects in the wood layers and veneer (voids, indents, minor scratches) may occur. We do our best to repair or conceal these. Any items being returned for the reasons stated here are not eligible for a refund.
(02) Decor items are eligible for return within a 5 day period following receipt of the item. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer, and a 20% restocking fee will be subtracted from the return amount. Contact us to initiate a return.
(03) If an item is received by the customer in damaged condition, Relic Modern may process an exchange of the item. Damage does not include variations in wood grain, small voids or indents in the layers, or minor scratches on the veneer.
All inquiries regarding exchanges must be made within 5 days of receipt of the item by contacting us.

(01) Furniture from Relic Modern is made-to-order and we expect all sales to be final. However, returns/cancellations of standard-sized collection pieces will be accepted at any point between the initial payment and up to 72 hours following receipt of the item by contacting us. Return shipping/drop-off to studio is the responsibility of the Customer. A 20% fee will be deducted from the return amount.
(02) Upon receipt of completed items, the Customer must inspect the item and immediately contact us about any potential damage. Damage does not include variations in wood and grain tone, small voids, minor scratches, indents in the layers, or minor measurement discrepancies. Items that are received in damaged condition may qualify for an exchange or partial refund at the discretion of Relic Modern.
(03) Measurements to ensure that free-standing furniture pieces reach, and fit into, the space desired must be taken by the Customer prior to ordering. Relic Modern bears no responsibility for this and will not accept returns in these situations.
(04) Items not properly cared for are never eligible for returns. This includes, but is not limited to, humidity damage, sun damage, and water marks.

All sales are final on discounted, discontinued, and outlet items. Items listed in the outlet store may have imperfections.

All sales are final upon initial downpayment. No returns or refunds will be accepted.
