The California Building will host its annual fall open studio event, California Dreamin', on Friday, November 13, from 5–9 p.m., Saturday, November 14, from 12–8 p.m., and Sunday, November 15, from 12–5 p.m. The free, three-day event returns for another year of open art studios, hands-on activities and live music.
Visitors are invited to explore six floors of art with more than 40 participating studios and get hands-on with demos and activities — including cutting board classes, jewelry making, sketch booking, clay tower building, and a community painting project. Live music will take place on the first floor, and food and drink will be available from the on-site café, Mojo Coffee Gallery.
“California Dreamin’s fall open studio event invites the public to experience a thriving art community —and often walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece. Come wander through the studios, meet the artists, and see where the afternoon takes you,” says building owner Jennifer Young.
The event is free to the public, though some activities and demos within the building may require prior registration and fees. Details available at www.californiabuilding.com. On-site parking will be available (street and parking lot). Studios are accessible to all.
